Vintage Single Action Revolver chambered for .45 Long Colt cartridges manufactured circa 1897 in Hartford, CT. It features a shortened 4 3/4" barrel, fluted six-round cylinder, gray patina finish, thin smooth curved trigger, notched frame rear sight, blade front sight, collard cylinder pin, hammer nose firing pin, replacement or re-contoured hammer with checkered spur, dimpled ejector rod, and plastic factory grips with rampant horse insignia. It displays bare metal surfaces with approximately 15% of the bluing retained, and scattered light pitting. The pistol's markings are clear and sharp. Grips are in excellent condition. The front sight is not original and the barrel and cylinder are post war replacements. The action is smooth and crisp with the hammer working on all three notches. Matching numbers on frame, triggerguard, and backstrap.
